Deluxe Pecan Pie

This is my mother's pecan pie recipe.

3 eggs, beaten
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup White Karo Syrup
1 cup of pecan halves
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 9 inch, unbaked pie shell*

Note: 1 teaspoon of butter may be added if desired.

*Preferred: Pillsbury Refrigerated Pie Crust

Place pie shell into pie pan and then crease edge with a fork. Mix ingredients together and pour into pie shell

Bake 1 hour in 350 degree oven.
